Butterflies were very popular in the 70's. Butterfly designs were on alot of things: tee shirts, posters, dish sets, etc. Also popular were mushrooms and various other plant motifs. My grandmother bought an entire set of dishes, coffee cups, saucers, bowls, creamers, etc. at a flea market once. She chose that set because of the interesting plant designs on them. Turns out it was cannibis leaves pictured. That grandma!!!!
