I found the above toy at Cal's place. I'm guessing it's from the early to mid 60's, by the looks of the graphics on the package (note the chalk body outline on the ground behind the figure in the package). Has anyone ever seen this before? Anyone????

His head reminds me of the time my comforter ripped and some of the batting came out.

This appears to be a rework of a illustration by Jonathan Edwards. The original illustration was of a PAN novel featuring the made-up character Inspector Cumulus by the made-up author Barrington Chendy, all made-up by the incredible brain and artist that is Jonathan Edwards.

The 2/6 price would make the date of the product pre 1971, but the CE mark was not introduced until the late 1980's.
However, if it were a real product, I'm sure it would sell!
