Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can help someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

Random:

The opener for Laverne And Shirley is one of my all-time favorites, and I loved the parody they did of it on Wayne's World.

Shows could use more real openings like they used to have!

When are you going to do something on one of my favorites, "The Jeffersons"???
Meanwhile... I thought Lenny & Squiggy stole the show on more than one occasion.

Aw! I just watched this on television the other night!

I agree, some shows could use some good openings, they don't really bother with them anymore...

Wings: Some of them were really great.

Candy: Hey welcome back from Aruba. I wish I was there right now, because It's freezing up here..

Jayne: I did a couple of months ago. It's in the archives somewhere..

Tom: I liked when Laverne was about to bring a pizza to a table, and the gate was closed and she dropped it... well, it's funnier watching it, than describing it..

Glows: That's when I wish I had a tv again, to watch those old shows. I suppose I could get some DVDs.

Joe, 42 degrees in Los Angeles right now- talk about cold! And I'm a native New Yorker!!!

On Topic: Was it just me or did the last season really go someplace weird? Remember when Laverne robbed a bank and ended up in jail?

I didn't like it when they moved to California the last couple of seasons. They really should've consulted me on that one.. .

Tell me about it. Totally threw me off- just like the last season of "Three's Company"!
After 7 seasons or so, they just grasp at straws- how else do you explain Mork on "Happy Days"? I was 5 and that totally floored me.

They never found a reasonable replacement for Chrissy. She was irreplaceable.

And do note, the purses they're sporting on the top pic, and the "L" on Garth's workshirt.. those guys cracked me up.

Hawkeye was always one of my favorite characters!

Jim, I loved MASH, but whenever I'm in front of a tv and it comes on, nobody else wants to watch it with me.

Jayne, Klinger was my favorite.

I always loved Klinger's outfits. That man could coordinate- even on the battle front!

He could do wonders with feathered boas..

I liked Hawkeye as well, there were a lot of great characters on that show. It was interesting to watch the movie after having watched the series for a number of years.
