Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific Shampoo:

I'm sure you've all seen this ad on the 'net a thousand times, and I'm not quite sure if I already did a post on this stuff, but I didn't have anything else to post today, so here goes. While I didn't dislike this shampoo, it wasn't one of my faves. Alot of people did like it, though. I was more of a Body On Tap fan because, frankly, anything with beer in it is a winner with me.... I'm just that way...
Also, I'm not certain if the above ad is from the late 70's or very early 80's. It's just hard to remember for sure.

Fact:

In the 70's, this haircut would never have been tolerated.

In my opinion:

Cloris Leachman should've stayed with The Mary Tyler Moore show. Just sayin'..

Misc. Remembrance:

Sometimetime around 1973, I was at a friend's in-ground swimming pool. There was a pair of swimming goggles sitting on the edge of the pool, so I put them on. I didn't know, however, that there was a bumble bee in it. All of a sudden I had a bumblebee in my face, so I naturally did what any other person would do:

I ran around screaming. With the goggles still on my face....

The damn bee stung me right between the eyes. To this day I have an aversion to bumble bees..

Family:

This show ran from '76 to '80. I didn't like the show, and I have absolutely no idea who that little kid is that's sitting on what's-his-names lap. Although the show was never my 'thing', alot of people liked it. Why they liked it I have no idea...

I'm not dead:

I haven't been posting much because I don't have internet at my home anymore. I am now working from the public library. That's why I haven't been around much. I've gotten rid of alot of unnecessary monthly expenses, and unfortunately internet is one of them. So if I haven't been responding like I used to, remember it's not you, it's me....

Freaky Friday:

Saw this in 1976 and I loved it. Never saw the newer version with Lindsay, but how many times can you watch the same plot..

This show was part of the Banana Splits television show. It originally aired in the mid-60's, but I watched it in re-runs in the early 70's. I haven't seen it since then, but just by looking at some of the pics on the image results it was pretty bad...
