True:

When I was 5 yrs old (circa. '73), the girl who lived across the street from us had a large Dawn Doll collection. She also had a habit of sticking small things, including Dawn Doll shoes, up her nose, and then blowing them out and seeing how far she could shoot them across the room. Once she stuck a pea up her nose, but she shoved it up a little too far and couldn't get it out. She didn't tell anyone until it started to rot. Her mom ended up taking her to the outpatient to have it surgically removed. To this day I bring it up from time to time to tease her.

1973 Magic Shot Shooting Gallery:

I spent hours playing this thing (actually, I had it for a few years and played it quite frequently). It was one of my all-time faves. To this day I have no idea how the gun was able to shoot the bb's from the other side of the plexi-glass...

Random:

I've never had a Big Mac. That whole "special sauce" concept really turned me off... I just couldn't get past it..

Don't Spill The Beans:

This is another game I had. For some reason my folks liked buying me multi-player games, even though I was an only child in the 70's. I think I got this around the same time I got Don't Break The Ice. Personally, I liked Don't Break The Ice alot better. Maybe it was a subliminal thing because as a kid I hated beans...

I didn't know it, but...

... in 1973 Paul Lynde had his own tv show. Not that it surprises me, it seems everybody had their own show back then..

I wish I could remember what happens in the above scene. I know I've seen it, this show was always on my top 10.

How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat. Some dance to remember, some dance to forget.

So I called up the captain: "Please bring me my wine." And he said: "We haven't had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine." And still those voices are calling from far away - wake you up in the middle of the night, just to hear them say: "Welcome to The Hotel California. Such a lovely place, Such a lovely face".
They livin' it up at The Hotel California. What a nice surprise, bring your alibis.

Wile E. Coyote

It was never specified what the gender of Wile E. Coyote was, but I'm assuming he's a male, because only a guy would try something so stupid..
