Misc. Remembrance:

I think it was Easter of '78, and my neighbors had an Easter Egg hunt for their kids (1 boy and 3 girls). The mom said "The big prize is one of the large eggs and there's a ten dollar bill inside". The kids looked for about 20 minutes and finally the boy found the large egg. He waved it around in the air and gloated over his victory. He walked up to where the rest of the family was and finally opened the egg to get his prize. Turns out it was Monopoly money. He didn't take it very well...

Misc. Remembrance:

When my Aunt split up with her husband in the early '70s, she needed to find someone to take care of my cousin Dee Dee while my Aunt worked. There was a woman who lived down the street who had a daughter my cousin's age, so Dee Dee would stay with them until my Aunt got home from work. Apparently, the girl didn't much care for Dee Dee, so when they played with her Barbies she wouldn't give Dee Dee any clothes for her doll, so she had to play with naked Barbies. I still laugh when I think about it.
