that's a nice looking house. isn't it amazing the way houses have appreciated? or better yet, the owners have gotten greedy...
hey, who's that dorky kid sitting on the front step? :P
The house I grew up in my dad inherited when he was about 28...it was scott free. When he and my mom sold it when they got divorced in 1995, it sold for a million. Two years later, those people sold it for 2.5 million. Last year it sold for 3.5 million (in Los Angeles, overlooking Malibu) Makes me sick.
Teri: I always wanted to buy the house back. But not for $419K...Teri: Well I'm not tellin. You'll just have to guess.Stepping: They should have given it to you. Parents can be so selfish... especially mine.
look how cute you were!that looks like such a nice house to grow up in.
One of my parent's friends was telling me the story of when they bought their house in 1965 for $23,000... she used to lay awake at night wondering how she would ever be able to pay the mortgage of $123 a month for the next 30 years! (Houses in that neighborhood still are selling between $800-900K).Sweet looking house... what a cute kid!
