Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can make someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

Misc. Remembrance:

Back in the day, it seems like everybody had Twister, but nobody ever seemed to play it. It was kind of one of those things that was just stored on the top shelves of peoples' closets, unused...

I actually do remember playing several times back in the day. I also remember, however, that the games never really lasted that long. Maybe it was more of an adult thing.

My folks got it for me one Christmas. They never wanted to play. I was an only child. Figure that one out... I'd much rather have gotten silly putty or a coloring book. At least I'd have gotten some use out of it

My best friend in jr high and high school had this, and it was played by all 4 kids in his family, and all of their friends. Now I think about it, it's amazing how popular his little sister became right around the same time...
