Judging from the pic you'd never know he'd been in a fight:

Okay so 1978 wasn't a great year for everybody....

1978.... I was 16, going to a small boarding school in northern Vermont, ex Vet Nam vets/hippies staff members along with tons of other cool people.

So did you get slammed with the blizzard of '78? Or was that just Massachusetts. Although I suppose Vermont gets a lot of snow regardless

Hey Joe, I remember a few times that we had to dig our way out of our dormitory because of huge snow drifts. The school had a huge snow blower on wheels that cleared pathways between buildings but we always had to shovel our way out to them.

I moved here to Vero Beach from Upstate New York. I don't miss the snow at all

We got hit with the Blizzard of 78' in Connecticut. It was a mess. National Guard with giant plows. The entire state shut down. I remember that day well because the radio announcer for out local station said..."where ever you were going, work or school, don't bother..the entire state has been shut down by the governor"...

I'll never forget it. Six foot snow drifts, up to and more than six feet of snow..three storms combined into what Hilton Kaderli called a "Golly-Whomper" of a storm.

The only thing that makes the blizzard of 78 an annoyance is the snow they have in New York right now...which makes the blizzard of 78 a walk in the park.

I'm glad I'm not there. If I never see snow again it'd be great
