I loved it too!<><
I never saw that one.
Barbra Harris was pretty funny, never a big star but she was okay. Really liked her in Family Plot!
Hmmmmm. I sort of remember the 70s and 60s. Don't remember this movie though. I just ran aground on your blog in my surfing and I like it. I'm not sure that speaks well for you, but... :)
I did enjoy that movie and the book.
I remember seeing this in grade school. I still remember water skiing... and I don't know if that really happened or if my memory is failing me now.
It wasn't so much the same plots, but the same tropes and stock actors of these disney's live actioners that made them blend into one g rated mess. This is is pretty good for the going, but I think it naturally resonates more with girls. Now my FAVORITE live action film from this canon for some strange reason is "The North Avenue Irregulars." No reason why, it just makes me laugh.Lazarus Lupinhttp://strangespanner.blogspot.com/arts and review
I happened to catch this on TV last summer and really enjoyed seeing it again. I find 99% of movie remakes to be disappointing, so I never saw the one with Lindsey Lohan.Like the commenter above me, I also love and own a copy of The North Avenue Irregulars. My favorite part is when the bad guys hit Cloris Leachman's car causing her to break off her false fingernails. She gets furious and goes after them with a vengeance.Hilarious!
One of the few films with Jodie Fosters character having a functional family with mom, dad and even a little brother. Very normal, very rare, lol. See also my blog if you like.
Noe: Yeah it was a good flick.Ann: You really missed out...QS: I can't remember anything else BH was in.. but then again my memory's not what it used to be I'm afraid..Max: Any reader is a welcome reader.Lara: Didn't know about a book. That's a first for me.Mc: Hey that happens when you get older..Lazarus and Hairball: Never heard of North Avenue Avengers. Maybe I'll do an image search one of these days.. Wreckage: I only saw the last quarter of Little Girl with Jodie Foster. I would've liked to see the whole thing. Maybe someday.
