Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can help someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

Oh, I love this song! You just brought back such a flood of great memories for me. =)

I had these tapes I would play for my son from the time he was born. They were a set I bought by a woman named Joanie Bartles. I ADORE her!! There was "Morning Magic," "Bathtime Magic," "Bedtime Magic," and "Dance Magic." (At least I'm pretty sure that's what they were all called.) This song is on "Morning Magic." We listened to it every single day, sometimes more than once.

Then, when my son outgrew our little morning rituals, I took it to school, and would play it for the babies in the morning. It would be on when they walked in, and they would listen to it while they hung up their things, and read books. It was such a calm, soothing way to start the day.

Thank you for posting this today!!
