Can't say I blame them:

I guess if I wasn't able to afford shoes, I wouldn't be smiling either.

my shoes are given to me by someone else (as are most All of my clothing).... more often than not , "Hand-me-downs"... which others have outgrown.... my weight is finally just above 130lbs... and either the pants keep getting "bigger", or we are still loosing weight... (cannot afford to eat very much "healthy"foods... just "starches")yes we are not smiling either ... can not afford to buy anything , much less a pair of shoes that fit properly.....

Off-subject, that's a beautiful sketch of the cast. O' to be able to draw like that! More on-subject, watching the Waltons' Homecoming Christmas movie is a tradition for me each year.

Val: Seems The Waltons' biggest fan-base are women. My mom can't get enough of that show
