April 7 - 13, 1973

It's a shame Children's TV had to grow up at all. Life's too short. Btw, does anybody know who the cartoon characters are next to Fred and Wilma? I've no clue.

No clue, but you are right. Why should children's TV grow up???

If I was the creator of that cartoon and nobody apparantly can remember it, it would be a major blow to my ego

Isn't that married couple from 'Wait Until Your Father Gets Home'..??

Nope, sorry.. Did some Googling for it and it wasn't 'Wait Until..'. I thought it was 'Where's Huddles' as well, but eh-eh.

Hope someone can find out..

I wonder if anybody watched that show. I certainly wouldn't brag about being involved with it.

I see HR Puff-n-Stuff, the Pink Panther, and the cartoon Sabrina the teenage witch. I remember watching the crow, but can't remember his name.

The crow is Merlin from The Brady Kids cartoon show. Below him is Jan Brady's cartoon image.

Even though I watched it as a child, looking at it now I don't think that the flintstones was a children's show. Lot's of references that adults would understand and that kids wouldn't. Similar to the animated movies coming out these days. It makes it interesting for the adults too.

I think it was for adults.
