Misc. Remembrance:

video
Back in the '70s, '50s nostalgia was very high ... no matter how tasteless or totally void it may have been of any decency or artistic merit.

Yes, the Fifties were huge in the Seventies: "American Graffiti", "Happy Days", Elvis was still a superstar, heck- even Sha Na Na had a syndicated TV show.

I remember the Sixties being all the rage in the Eighties. The Beatles and the Monkees had sort of a revival, and I recall lots of tie-dyed clothes and hippies-turned-yuppies themed movies.

I'm seeing a pattern emerge here..

Yes, there does seem to be a pattern! I for one never thought that '70s fashions- like bell-bottoms and butterfly collars -would come back. Who knew? :P

Gosh- I forgot all about "Grease"! My sister had the soundtrack album and practically wore it out in '78!
