Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can help someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

Misc. Remembrance:

Sometime around '76, I told one of the kids in my neighborhood just before Christmas that "there was no Santa Claus". I guess he took it pretty hard, but then again I don't know who took it harder: the kid, or the kid's parents that I told him. Everyone tried to lay some huge guilt-trip on me. Who knows, maybe if I hadn't said anything, he'd still believe to this day...

Tough time when one finds out the truth. My son cried for an hour!

I didn't take it hard when I found out. I kind of knew instinctively, especially when I noticed how on the "to" and "from" tags that Santa and mom had the same handwriting
