In my opinion:

Nobody could twirl an umbrella wearing a sundress quite like Marlo Thomas.

I loved watching reruns of That Girl.

I loved how, sometimes, her voice would almost go into a squeal whenever she'd say "Donald" (that really turned me on, if you know what I mean...)

she was hot back then and I didn't even know it till later. I wish I could find reruns.

sorry, looks like you'll probably have to get a dvd, or wait for tvland to start airing re-runs.

That Girl was a personal hero of mine as a young girl! Love, love, love her!

I bet you could pull off that sundress/umbrella look.
Easily.

I remember the episode where she was cast to play a bit part in a movie. She gets all excited about her big break, and when she arrives at the set to pick up the wardrobe that she's supposed to wear in the movie, and it's just a gold chain....

I loved how the show made New York seem like the sexist place on the planet; unlike films of the same period that depicted the city as a cesspool, That Girl made the big apple seem like a place where dreams could come true.

I used to like the part in the opening song, where she stopped to look in a window, and she was the girl in the window and winked at her. I was so young i couldn't figure out how she managed to be in two places at the same time.
