Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can help someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

Another Pleasant Valley Sunday, charcoal burning everywhere. Rows of houses that are all the same, and no one seems to care

I've always had a mild fascination with Levittown, and the whole post-war lifestyle. And the fact that you could buy a house for $4,000.. on credit....

I remember growing up in a neighborhood much like this in the late 70's and 80's!

I did too, in Massachusetts. My folks paid $18,000 for their house in '67, and it's on the market now for $415,000...
