Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can help someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

Misc. Remembrance:

In the 70's, I used to spend a week or two each summer staying with my grandparents in their trailer at the Bourne Campground in Massachusetts. A couple of times they had a site overlooking the canal. Those were excellent times. Their trailer wasn't quite as upscale as the one pictured above. They had an old Coachman. Not that I'm complaining or anything, but it sure would've been nicer if we'd stayed in something like the above.
As opposed to theirs..

Years ago my ex bought an old 70s camper from his parents and it was still stocked with stuff from when they used to go on family camping trips when he was a kid. I LOVED digging through that thing, I was like a kid in a candy store. It was loaded with dishes from the 70's, towels, tablecloths, even magazines from the 70's, which I scoured through. It was like going back in time. Everything seemed so much simpler then...

I'm so envious. Sounds like a time capsule. That's so cool.
