Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can help someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

Random facts:

I was never a big Circus fan. We went a couple of times (Ringling Bros., Barnum & Bailey), but it just wasn't my thing. I did, however, love the drawings of Richard Scarry (above pic), although I don't recall having any of his books.

I never cared much for the circus either. I couldn't understand people who wanted to run away and join the circus. That sounded horrible to me.

I hated the circus - still do.
My kids loved the Richard S. videos.

Retro: Joining the circus sounds horrible to me too.

MnM: And I thought I was the only one who didn't like the circus.

Count me in as a non-fan too. Hated clowns, still do. I think I always thought they had something to hide. Same goes for those victorian wigs and big costumes.

Won't argue with you on the Victorian wigs...
... um, btw, my apologies to any circus performers out there... or any Victorians..

I hated the circus, but I had this very same book and used to LOVE the drawings....what a throwback.
