I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

I'd forgotten all about this one:

I think it came out just after the 1976 re-make of King Kong. It didn't last more than a couple of years.

I remember this, too. If I'm remembering correctly, when it started it was tied in with Hanna-Barbera's reboot of Tom & Jerry.

I loved Tom and Jerry. I didn't really like Grape Ape much.

And Grape ape also made some cameo/guest appearances on the Hanna Barbera Laff a lympics

Yeah, Grape Ape predated Dino DeLaurentis' remake of King Kong by nearly 1 full year.

Well I never could figure out the concept of a purple ape. There's only so much you could do with that..
