Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can help someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

Random fact:

In the late 70's/early 80's, I worked with a aging British biologist who told me about her venture in raising worms for fishing (the huge trench in her back yard, feeding them oats, etc) and all the many recipes for cooking these highly nutritious hermaphrodites. (And doesn't that phrase make you salivate?)

She also said that plain Milkbones were the best for long hikes because they didn't break down with moisture.

She was a somewhat bizaare and totally cool old gal!
