I'd forgotten about these things. Everyone had one. Just saw the MTM floorplan at the bottom of your page. This is my kind of blog! It's got me thinking of which sitcom residence I'd like to live in most... off the top of my head it'd be either Bob Newhart's or the Family Affair penthouse... both nice ones overlooking the city. This will probably be a post on Retrospace in the near future. Keep 'em coming!
I've seen the feet in the not too distant past, so I think think they still make them - not sure where. In terms of residence, definitely not Laverne & Shirley, maybe Three's Company, I think they were close to the beach.
I think I'd choose MTM's pad. At least the bathroom had a toilet in it.. that's a major plus for sure.
Yes, that would be a plus for sure... How about Mork & Mindy, weren't they in Boulder, CO - close to some skiing? And he had that room in the attic which was pretty cool.
You're determined to get me skiing, aren't you... ;^)
It's funny, but whenever I look at that blueprint, I get flashbacks of the show: Mary turning on the lights, walking into the kitchen, hanging out with Rhoda and Phyllis on the couch watching that little TV..I really miss those days.
... I also remember Rhoda's apartment, with the hanging beads for doors..
I think I've settled on the Family Affair penthouse. Favorite office: ever seen UFO?I wrote a post gushing about his cool office not too long ago.http://my-retrospace.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-want-job-with-shado.html
Joe, yes, I've got skiing on the brain at the moment. As far as the UFO show, gilligan, I checked out the blog post and have never heard of that. And Rhoda did have a cool apartment also.
I never had one, were they really made from little rabbitt's feet?
Cool dad: Rhoda was cool.Marj: Yup. Actual rabbit's feet.
I never had one, my parents probably wouldn't buy me one although I don't remember asking, I remember looking at kids at school and thinking they were creepy and they thought they were good luck, I bet the rabbit didn't think so.
