Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can make someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

Sing a song, sing out loud, sing out strong.

Sing a song, sing out loud, sing out strong.
Sing of good things, not bad. Sing of happy, not sad. Sing a song, make it simple to last your whole life long. Don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear, just sing a song.

I always wanted to live at a place that had a little garden with a pathway to a pond. Never happened, though. Well, maybe someday...

Misc. remembrance (I was going to wait to halloween but what the hell):

My folks told me that when I was about 4, there was a kid in the neighborhood named Billy D. He used to pick on the neighborhood kids and talk back to his parents. From what my folks said, he was a bad kid. That year for Halloween his mom picked out his costume.
They dressed Billy as an angel.
Apparantly his folks didn't get the humor of it all. I hear they were kind of offended when everyone laughed.

Cute story. LOVE this Peanuts pic! This was one of my favs when I was a kid. In fact, I STILL watch it just because it is so cozy to me. ;)

I thought you were going to say he donned a hockey mask that Halloween and went on a neighborhood killing spree!

Our neighborhood bullies were the twin terrors of David and Daniel.
I love that Peanuts Halloween special. I haven't seen it in a while. I will have to watch it this year.
