Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can help someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

You can't have it all...

I had tons of stuff when I was a kid, and my parents pretty much got me whatever I asked for, so this isn't a whine post. When I was around 4, I really wanted Dapper Dan, but since it was a doll it was out of the question. My neighbors had one but I wasn't allowed to play with it. Thank goodness for Mister Rogers, otherwise I probably would've never learned how to tie my shoes. Or button things....

I remember this. Not sure if I had one or had something similar, but it is floating around my brain.

There was a companion: "Dressy Bessy". But that was a girl toy...

I had the girl version - I guess it was the Dressy Bessy. I loved that thing. So freakin' cute! :D

But Dapper Dan was specifically for boys!

Great blog. I am going to troll your archives like the dirty old man that I am.
