Good ole Prell. Stripped every bit of oil out of the hair :)
Wow - Now that is a flashback!
I remember Prell but can't remember if we used it at my house or not.
ohmygod! we used to use this growing up. do they even make it any more?c
Robin: I wish I could remember the smell better..Wings: So did you use it??? Did it make your hair soft and lustrous?????Ann: then you probably didn't. Mom still uses it, and we can't pry it away from her. It's almost like some sort of substance addiction with that woman.C: Yes, but it doesn't smell the same.
There are some great old Liquid Prell commercials over on You Tube. And, like I remembered, this is the product that they drop a pearl into and it slowly floats down showing how thick and concentrated the shampoo is.Fun stuff!
I remember the Prell days!<><
BFTP: Unfortunately I'm on dial-up, so I can't pull up youtube videos. One of these days, if I ever move to a place that has high-speed, I'm gonna spend a month looking at youtube. Especially old commercials.Noe: good times indeed!
I loved Prell, not to be confused with Pert which my dad liked. :)FourthGradeNothing.com
all these years I thought it made my teeth whiter
Ally: Never tried Pert. Now I just use soap.Goggles: With that fresh, minty taste...
I LOVED the smell of Prell.
It smelled good enough to eat, as I remember.
I wish they'd bring this product back. It did smell so good - I'd even just like to have a perfume or scented candle of it. If they can have a candle that smells like White Castle hamburgers, why not Prell?
They have a hamburg scented candle??? Yuck.
As a kid, that's the only shampoo I used. I'm surprised I'm not bald...
I used it, and while I'm not bald, per se, let's just say there aren't as many "leaves on the tree" as there used to be...
HAHA! Prell was cool. Pert was not. Ew.
Never tried Pert... the name annoyed me... actually it still does.
