I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

The previous post started me thinking about...

... the old Virginia Slims ad campaign that ran throughout the decade. I saw these ads in the TV Guides we'd get. I knew alot of women who smoked back then (most all the women in our family did), but none of them smoked Virginia Slims (Mom smoked Marlboro Lights, and Gram smoked Winstons). I guess they weren't liberated or enlightened enough...

I never knew any smokers back then but I remember these ads were every where - esp. in the tv guides.
