Watching Bob Ross always put me in a good mood. Do they ever air reruns?
I LOVE watching Bob Ross and his "happy little trees". My parents used to watch it on PBS on Sundays when I was younger.
Does anyone remember "Strum Along"? I think it was on PBS as well and had a host almost as mellow as Bob teaching you how to play guitar. It was "goovy"
Everyone: In retrospect, his "wet on wet technique" sounds so dirty...
You are right. I was commenting to someone about old 80's videos and I mentioned that they had more character eventhough the videos were simpler and corney at times. The same can be said of Ross. What made him cool was his laid back attitude. In today's world hype/gimmicks count more than character.
When I had a tv I always watched Mr. Ross. It was a great way to spend a weekend afternoon. I didn't care for his mentor, William alexander. Bob was way cooler.
i used to watch him every sunday! his voice relaxed me, soothed me, and his talent was incredible.c
His voice sounded like he was sucking on chalk just before they started filming..
Bob Ross was superawesome in every way. He even made that hairdo cool by wearing it.
Remember the cartoon "The Hair Bears"?? One of the bears had his hair.
He really was talented.. I still can not believe how he drew those mountains with three brush moves..
