Using my blog to try and make the world a better place. If I can help someone forget their troubles for a few minutes a day, it's all worth it.

I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream of warm impermanent sand. So the days flow through my eyes but still the days seem the same. And these children that you spit on as they try to change their world are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through.

The Love Bug:

I don't remember this movie too well, but considering the last pic I posted was so disturbing, I just had to post something else...

My kids just watched this, it has some pretty cool cars in it, but some stupid VW keeps getting in the way.

My first car was a VW beetle. I actually miss it.

MY first car was a VW bug also. Had the greatest heater in the world which in the frozen tundra was indespensible.

The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was too touchy on the steering wheel. the slightest nudge on the wheel really made the car swerve.
Right into a telephone pole.
After that, not so much..

I know I saw that but don't remember much about it. A slug bug is what my granddaughter wants for her first car (next year is drivers license year). I told her not to hold her breath. Her mom has given her an older Nissan which is perfect for her.

Yeah those Beetles can be very dangerous, especially with inexperienced drivers.
Like I was.
When I totalled mine..

I happened to catch one of the Love Bug movies on TCM a few months ago. They also showed the original Freaky Friday movie with Jodie Foster.

Mr. Hairball's first car was a VW Bug.

I remember watching it, or a rerun, it was funny but the remake with Lohan stunk.
