Davey and Goliath:

I watched this every Sunday morning. I believe it was a Rankin/Bass production, but I'm not sure. Btw, don't let that side-part hairstyle and sunday school best attire fool you - sure, he looked all clean-cut and innocent, but that dude was always getting in trouble. He was bad news..

Davey and Goliath was done by Art Clokey (the same guy that did the Gumby animations). I used to watch this too, since it was about the only thing on TV on a Sunday morning.

This was a great show, I really liked the voice of the dog.

Did you ever watch Eddie Murphy as Gumby on SNL?

Yup. Remember the Gumby Christmas Special, where Donny and Marie were singing then started making out??? Haha that cracked me up.

I never saw this before. It's usually the clean cut kids that are some of the biggest trouble makers.

Yep, my kids watched that show. I remember sitting through a few episodes (that was before having another tv in a different room)

Every Sunday morning I had the choice on the TV of either Davey & Goliath or a test pattern... Davey & Goliath usually won by a narrow margin.

Keith: It was a great show for a kid. I saw a repeat a couple of years ago and I couldn't sit through it. Who knows, maybe it always sucked..

Ann: so the good old days weren't always good, eh?

Gilligan: Well if I had to choose now between this and the test pattern, well, I don't know..

Cheer: How could any grandmother be mean to you??? I bet you were a cutey.

Miss Alex: "just lift his leg and go".. hahaha
